Can't count the times I've hired a carpet-cleaning company over the years, but I can say without reservation that today your technician, Ryan, provided the best service I've ever received. My carpeting is old and pet spots were numerous, but by the time he left, it was spotless and very nearly dry (usually I'm walking around in damp socks for hours afterward). I suspect Ryan may not choose clean carpeting as a lifelong profession, but he is a genuinely hard worker and will be a real asset in any profession.

Here is my experience with K&M cleaners from beginning to end. In summary - I was blown away! So here it goes: When I called, the woman on the phone was very helpful. She made the process simple, clear & easy despite all my questions & lack of knowledge regarding the process. They worked around my schedule & I even got a discount over the phone. I was told they would arrive between 1pm & 4pm on my chosen day. She said she would call me as soon as the guys were done with the customer before me. She did & I also received 2 calls from the tech to update me with my status. There was lots of communication & respect with my time. Being a single mother, this is very important! Armando knocked on my door, introduced himself with a smile & extended hand. He appeared very professional in his dress & demeanor. He then began to explain the process in detail- something he did not have to do & because of that, his patience & professionalism made me feel at ease. During his explanation, Armando introduced me to his tech, Cody, who was working very fast & quietly in the background. I was surprised to hear that he had already set up the truck, hoses & drain etc. with no time wasted! Armando started telling me the benefits of Scotch Guard & how it works. Now, backing up a little bit - I was so embarrassed with the condition my furniture was in. It had stains of who knows what, it was covered in dust and smelled like dog. I cannot tell you how comfortable he made me feel! As soon as he found out my furniture was 8 years old, that I had raised a daughter, 2 boys, 3 dogs & a cat on that couch, he was shocked & told me my furniture look amazing - that kids and pets are hard on furniture & if it looks this good now, that using the Scotch Guard would protect my investment & it could potentially last another 8 years. I was sold. He also asked if there was anything else I would like cleaned while they were there. I casually spoke about the ottoman, the main rug & 4 dining room chairs. What a deal! He not only gave me a killer price- he was eager to do more! As Armando was cleaning the sofa & love seat he carried on a conversation, paying close attention to spots & stains, doing a diligent job carefully inspecting & cleaning. Every once in a while, he would explain what he was doing. He was so professional & yet such a people person! World class customer service all the way around. I was very impressed! After he was done, my next thought was moving on to the rug, pillows & chairs. Nope, to my surprise... It was ALL already done! Cody was like a ninja working hard behind the scenes. He had already cleaned it all! They did the spot treatment, pet enzyme, cleaning & Scotch Guard on everything in only an hour! Amazing!!! So I had my sofa, loveseat, ottoman, rug, cushions, pillows & dining room chairs for a great deal! I could not thank them enough! Everything looks & smells BRAND NEW! I highly recommend K&M cleaners, especially if it's Armando. He clearly loves his job & takes it seriously. He is a wonderful asset to the company! Words cannot explain how pleased I am with the process, the techs, the results & the price. Worth every penny & more.

First time K&M customer. Cody and Jesse were scheduled to clean and pet treat my carpets. While Jesse cleaned my carpet, Cody did a demo cleaning on my tile. He thoroughly explained the options that were offered and what it would cost. Now I have clean carpets, tile floors and the best soap and water clean smell throughout my whole house. Professional and knowledgeable. I will definitely call K&M for any future cleanings.

Manny and Victor just did my carpets. It was quick and absolutely perfect. The pet stains were gone before they even started with just the application of enzyme. I've never had carpets this clean,fresh smelling and at an amazing price. Stanley Steamer was going to do two rooms and a hallway for over $200. K&M did my entire house, 4 rooms and a hallway with pet stain treatment for $150 bucks all said and done. I highly recommend them.

Your crew came to my house last week and cleaned all of our carpets. I have to say we were contemplating tearing them up and replacing but thought we would give them one last clean. The results are amazing. The carpets have been cleaned several times before and it has been about 2 years since they were last done (by someone else). Hey, Ken, I'm a long-time client; you worked with me on my 5 rent properties in Forest Oaks from 2002-2006. 4 were on Lord Byron & 1 on Shark Loop... plus my own residence in Austin. Anyway, Roger cleaned my carpets on Wagon Train last month, and offered to add the stain-resistant Teflon coating for a reasonable fee. Fortunately, I took him up on the offer. Today, as I sat at my computer, I lunged for my Diet Coke in frustration (don't ask)... As you can imagine, it went downhill from there. I RAN to grab the "doggie towels", returned to clean the printer & scanner (which took a direct hit). I found, to my amazement, that when I got to the carpet itself (about a minute or so into this "incident"), the spill was sitting patiently on TOP of the carpet, waiting for me to soak it up. Wow! Not a stain on the carpet... it wasn't even very wet!! Just wanted to shout out a "Thank You"... sometimes an ounce of prevention really is worth it. Thanks for the GREAT service.

Just a quick note to let you know how impressed I was with the crew that came over today. Very professional and friendly. My parents are visiting and were also impressed at how thorough they were.
The only hiccup was that I didn't get a call in advance of their arrival, but fortunately, I wasn't too far from the house. Your operator did end up calling 30 minutes after the crew already started.
My new house now looks like it has new carpets and tiles. Very pleased and hope to book you guys on a regular basis now that I have a carpeted house!

Roger and Domingo just left my place not long ago and I cannot send enough kudos and "back pats" for these two guys. The came in, answered all of my questions, gave me a fair write up that actually matched what you said it would be and got to work.
There was one problematic area (from an incontinent LARGE dog) that I NEVER thought would be cleanable and they made it BEAUTIFUL again!!!
They were quick, pleasant, happy and efficient. You have all been a joy to work with, the prices charges are competitive, fair and well worth every dime. What a superb job Nick and Ron did on my tile and grout floors. Some of my tile which has never been professionally cleaned is more than 12 years old and it looks practically new. They arrived at the house and gave me a bid and then got right to work. The job was done in three hours and I was able to walk on the floor within an hour. Not only was the bid exactly what I paid, but they also stayed and instructed me on how to properly care for the floors in the future. I highly recommend K&M for all your floor and carpet care needs.

Hi I am wanting to have my livingroom cleaned as well as a media room that is attached to it. I may add a hallway and wanted to know how much it would cost to have you clean a very small section of carpet in my motorhome. if that is even possible. Do you work on Sundays?

I wanted to commend Jeremiah and Roger for the wonderful job they did on our carpet. I wish I could have had the whole house done, but had to settle for the three room package! After I settled my account with Jeremiah, while Roger was finishing up I told them what a good job they had done and I wished I could have had them do the stairs and the hallway (embarrassing) also. Jeremiah offered to make a couple of passes over the largest and most embarrassing spot in the hall. Considering that the spot didn't get pre-treated it is almost gone! Jeremiah and Roger going above and beyond have guaranteed you a new customer for life!

Hi Ken ... had to write and let you know how much I appreciated Rey & Juan this morning, not only do my carpets look amazing which makes me so so happy, but just working with Rey & Juan was a complete pleasure. Both were professional, hard working and to top it off ... they were incredibly nice/fun to work with. My husband is a big UT fan and we have this tacky UT 2x4 carpet that is outside the garage door, well, Juan just had to clean it out of total reverence to their beloved UT! JP and Victor worked incredibly hard on my carpet and recliners. Our carpets had not been cleaned in 4 years, since each year we said we would replace them. I have a small house, two children, an elderly dog, a rabbit, and I teach groups of homeschoolers who head to the park out back and then track dirt and mud (and who knows what else) back into the house. The carpets look great! They even removed the strange "science experiments gone bad" stains from my son's room and the "make your own natural dye" project from the carpet in the study. The cost was much less than we were! anticip ating for this big a job, and you didn't nickel and dime us with treatment charges like other companies have. The price was fantastic and we actually feel we are at least $4,000 richer (cost of new carpet) because of the work done by JP and Victor. Unless my lottery numbers pay off, we will be seeing you next year. I have already told 3 neighbors about your service.

The last company we used just tipped up the furniture and then filled the whole house with steam and made me dread getting the carpet cleaned. Bravo Ken! The absolute best customer service I have had in years...for any service. The first phone call revealed I was dealing with a professional, polite and knowledgeable staff. My questions, concerns and scheduling restrictions were met with someone on the other end of the phone who wanted to help and made every effort to make me happy.
The team that came to the house was on time, professional looking and acting and did a great job of answering questions and being patient with us and our little boy. The carpets had never been cleaned (6 years old) and we had our doubts about many stains and spots we had acquired over the years. The results were fantastic, unbelievable and beautiful. We have another baby on the way and it is nice to know that he will have a nice clean floor to play on. Now that we know what to expect with the K&M team we will be calling more often and referring family and friends to the best steam cleaning company in town!

Not only were Rey and Victor courteous - they were very efficient! I thought it was going to take longer but they were able to bust out my apartment in no time. The carpet was just horrible before - really embedded with dirt and who knows what else (it was a horrible grey color)!! They pre-treated it and went over the troublesome spots until the carpet was the color it was supposed to be. I never knew the carpet was actually beige! Thank you so much for all you have done! I will definitely be sure to call back and have my carpet done again in 6-12 months.

Hi Ken, you're the MAN! And Ryan and Ronnie are the Dream Team of K&M!!! The crew is so nice, polite, professional, and just down right PERFECT! The finished product is beyond words - my carpet is about 10 years old, had stains that the previous cleaning company couldn't finish the job but Ryan and Ronnie got them out effectively and in timely fashion. At first I was concerned about the strong chemical but I was so wrong, the carpet smells wonderful but not overwhelming! My last carpet cleaning guy passed away that I had used for over 12 years since being in Austin and I was not sure where to turn to find someone else. Luckily, I had seen K&M in the Money Mailer for several years and saw all the satisfied customers on the web and flyers. I made an appointment and got one in 2 days! I was very pleased with the carpet repair that Lupe did in such a short time too! I was not sure how I was going to get that seam fixed and saw on the flyer that you repaired carpets. Got a great carpet cleaning, tile cleaned and repaired - all at a great price and all within 2 hours and 2 great guys who knew what they were doing. I will definitely use K&M again. Our realtor (Carol Dochen Realtors) recommended you when I asked who I should call to have the carpets cleaned in our home that we had sold, after the movers had moved all of our furniture. Her office manager, Kim Wallace, said "K&M!" We had terrible black marks on our cream colored carpet where some of our furniture had been, possibly from the air vents -- it looked awful, and I was very afraid the stains would not come out (in fact, another very well known and much more expensive local carpet cleaning company had said the stains would not come out). And the new owners of our house were doing their final walk-through before closing in two days. Rey looked at the black marks and said he could get them out. And he DID!! Our carpet looked almost new (and it was 11 years old). I couldn't believe it. He pre-treated the stains with a miracle cleaner (to me it was a miracle), and boy, did it work. And he and his partner, Zeke, were professional and very pleasant. I can't thank you enough for making our carpets look great for the new owners of our former home.

Your crew did a great job! They were on-time, very efficient, and thorough. The carpet looked brand-new when they were finished. I was extremely concerned about the pet urine smell and how well it would come out. Your crew told me several times they were only treating the carpet and not the padding. So I understood it may not eliminate the smell entirely. However, when we entered the house today, 4 days after the cleaning, the smell was nearly undetectable. The family moving in did not smell any pet odors! What a relief!! Your prices were much less than Blackmon Mooring and Stanley Steemer. Yet the quality of the job was top-notch! Today I had my carpets cleaned by Rey and Lex, and it was wonderful. First off, they showed up right on time and I received a courtesy call before they got there. They were both VERY professional and hard working. Lex took the time to explain everything and then made sure I was comfortable with it all before beginning the work. They were also very understanding about my dog, which speaks highly of their character.
My carpets look great and my couch and love seat smell fabulous and there is no dog hair!!! I choose KandM Steam Cleaning because they are locally owned and operated, and now having experienced their service, I can say that this company speaks well for Austin, Texas.

I just wanted to take a moment out of my day to let you know how PLEASED I am with the work your company did with my carpets. The gentlemen who came to my house were extremely professional and hard working. I had a couple of problem areas related to pets that I thought would not come clean, Jason made a few suggestions on how to address the problem areas and I decided to take his advice, I am so glad I did. Not only are your prices very reasonable, but you really get your money worth.
My pet stains are gone, my house smells amazing, and my bank was not broken. I liked the work that Chris and Jason did so much that on top of the cost to clean the carpets I felt very, very good about providing a tip on top of it. Even with the tip thrown in, you were still much cheaper and better than any other carpet company I have used at my current home, or homes in the past.
Usually when a company gives someone a refrigerator magnet I just toss them, In your case, the magnet is going right on the fridge so I can find you easily the next time I need this service. I live in a track home that came with some fairly cheap carpeting, my neighbor had to tear his out recently because it just started looking bad, so while they are tearing their carpet out, mine, thanks to your company, looks as good as when it was new, how cool is that?
You should be very proud of your company, and your staff. If you need a referral here and there, you can feel free to have a customer or two contact me, I would be happy to share my experience with them (of course I don't want my phone ringing off the hook .
