It's not all doom and gloom!
November 2008
Everyone is tired of hearing about all the bad things happening around the country. It is real and we will all be affected by the greed and mistakes of others. We need to work a little smarter than we have in the past until this economy gets straightened out.
We are very fortunate to be living in Austin, Texas where it isn't all "gloom and doom." Austin is one of the top five cities in the country to live and work. (along with surrounding Williamson and Hays counties) The projected growth for the next few years is staggering. I don't want to bore you with statistics, but there are going to be many more people to take care of and less docs to provide and keep up with the demand. What does that mean for you and your practice?
- Take advantage of this tenant/buyers market.
- There are still banks lending money... it's your smaller, mid-size banks that didn't invest or hurt by the residential disaster.
- Look at your existing lease and renegotiate now.
- Go buy a building or condo.
- Invest in yourself or your practice.
- A satellite office might be a good option for you.
- Build equity and hedge against inflation and rising costs.
- If you already own your own real estate, look at ways to reduce your operating cost.
I have been working with health care for over 20 years with office projects that range from 2,000 - 100,000 sf, to two ambulatory surgery centers, and a specialty hospital. Just like you and your practice, I feel that I am the best in my field: Tenant/buyer representation, build-to-suit, new development. I am an incredible resource of information and I ask you to take advantage of my knowledge and experience.
Whether you are currently looking or considering a move for the future, now is the time to put on your thinking cap. There is no charge for my services, but I can save you time and money. If I can't help you, maybe you can share my name with a friend.
When you think about medical real estate, remember the best in the business - Brian Novy. "My performance will move you."
